About Me

My name is Emily and I am a NASM certified personal trainer. I am a runner and I’m currently training for my first marathon. I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in biology. I am using my general biology knowledge to continue to learn more about the science of exercise.

My goal as a personal trainer is to help others find fitness methods that work for them. I believe that everyone can find a way to take care of their body in a way that works for them. You don’t need to run marathons to integrate fitness into your life. With my background as a scientist I am passionate about using research-backed fitness practices to help clients meet their goals!

The Training Process

Every training plan is unique to the client but this is a general overview of what to expect when you work with me!

  • Step 1
    1-on-1 Consultation
  • Video call with me to discuss your fitness history and your goals with personal training! Whether you want to feel stronger, run a 5k, or lose weight, I'm here to help!

  • Step 2
    Training Plan Development
  • We will schedule a meeting (online or in person) to assess your current fitness levels (don't worry it'll be fun!). Once I know your fitness level, I will put together a training plan made custom for you to help you reach your goals!

  • Step 3
    Time to Train!
  • Now that you have a training plan, it's time to start training! You can opt to schedule in-person personal training sessions or stick with online coaching. I will ensure that you learn the proper exercise form regardless of your chosen plan.

  • Step 4
    Chase those goals!
  • Let's meet those goals! As you work through your training plans you will have access to 24/7 text chats for questions and weekly check-ins where we will assess how the plan is working for you. I will adapt your training plan as necessary!
